These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of The Daily Hype Line service operated by The Daily Hype Line Ltd, based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, United Kingdom. By subscribing or purchasing a gift, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the service
The Daily Hype Line is a daily voice note subscription service. Each morning at approximately 8:08am (UK time), subscribers receive a short uplifting audio message via Telegram from one of our fictional characters (the "Hype Heroes"). The service is for personal enjoyment and entertainment purposes.
Content is generated using AI voice technology and fictional characters. All characters, names, and scenarios are entirely fictional.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to subscribe. By signing up you confirm you meet this requirement. The service is currently available to UK residents only.
3. Subscriptions
The Daily Hype Line is offered as a recurring monthly subscription:
- Price: £5.00 per month
- Free trial: New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged £5.00.
- Billing: Subscriptions renew automatically each month on your billing date.
- Payment: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring monthly charges to your payment method.
4. Gift subscriptions
- Price: £5.00 as a one-off payment.
- Duration: 14 days of daily voice notes delivered to the recipient via Telegram.
- Delivery: We will contact the gift recipient using the details you provide. Please ensure you have the recipient's permission to share their contact information with us.
- Gift subscriptions do not auto-renew and do not carry over unused days.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- By emailing hello@thedailyhypeline.com
- By using the cancellation link in any of your billing emails from Stripe
If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after that. We do not offer partial-month refunds unless required by law.
6. Refunds
Because The Daily Hype Line delivers digital content, the following refund policy applies:
- If you have not yet received any voice notes, you are entitled to a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of purchase.
- If digital content delivery has begun, your right to a 14-day refund is waived, as you will have confirmed consent to immediate delivery at the point of purchase.
- If you experience a technical failure on our part that prevents delivery of the service, please contact us and we will resolve it or issue a pro-rata refund.
- Refund requests are handled at our discretion for other circumstances. We aim to be fair. Just email us.
7. Delivery and availability
We aim to deliver voice notes every day at approximately 8:08am UK time. In the event of technical issues, we will do our best to resolve delays promptly. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for short-term outages or delays outside our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice to subscribers.
8. Charity contributions
£1 from every £5 subscription payment is donated to one of our partner charities: Diabetes UK, Cancer Research UK, and The Fertility Foundation. Charity allocations are made at our discretion and may be updated from time to time. These contributions do not affect the amount you are charged.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share, redistribute, or resell voice note content without our permission.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or replicate the service or its content.
We reserve the right to terminate subscriptions that breach these terms without refund.
10. Intellectual property
All content produced by The Daily Hype Line, including the Hype Heroes characters, voice notes, copy, and branding, is the property of The Daily Hype Line Ltd. You may not reproduce or use it commercially without written permission.
11. Limitation of liability
The Daily Hype Line is an entertainment service. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on content delivered. Our total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding any claim.
We are not liable for loss or damage caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to disruptions to Telegram, Stripe, or internet infrastructure.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance. Your continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
